Since I am on this mission to create in the month of May and to push myself to some crafts that I don’t normally accomplish (yet they’re in my stash), I decided to embark on another paper crafting card project and make cards for Mother’s Day this year.
As usual, I was scanning YouTube and the various creators I follow there as well as on patreon and whatnot and came across these cards that were done by Melody Lane #MelodyLaneInspired. One of them I made, basically as is, just changing the colors around. The second card, I took the same concept, but used totally different images to make it my own and make it fit with the theme of her gift this year.
For both of these cards, the bulk of the work was done by the Cricut. I utilized the draw feature on the Cricut to have it draw these beautiful images on the front and then cut out the card and it was as simple as putting the card together (and adding a few stamps and a sentiment inside). The gold palm tree card, I wish I had used a thinner pen, but it was the night before leaving town and this was the gold that I had on hand so this was the gold I went with In the future, I would avoid using this thick of a pen on this card. The blue “Life’s a beach” is a stamp that I added after the fact.
